P!nk rewrites the record for the most No. 1s in the 17-year history of Billboard's Nielsen BDS-based Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart, as "Just Give Me a Reason," featuring fun.'s Nate Ruess, rises 2-1 to become her eighth leader on the list. She passes Maroon 5 and Katy Perry, each with seven No. 1s. P!nk also moves ahead of Maroon 5 for the most consecutive No. 1s (five) in the survey's archives; Maroon 5 has reigned with its last four singles.
That was before Love Somebody went #1, so maroon has 8 and pink has 8.
Regardless of how long Roar is #1 for doesn't really matter to be honest because it has achieved monumental tremendous stats in such a short period of time with little promo and it already became a #1 hit so if it were to drop for that spot next week it's accomplished all that it needed for it to be another hit in Katy's catalogue and we can get ready for the SLAYAGE of Dark Horse.
But Madonna has 15 #1's on CHR, so lets not act as if Rihanna is the leader, cuz she's not. Billboard didn't start in 1991. It started in 1958. I think Mariah has 12 or 13 as well. I'm not sure on that one.
Did it pass the song that must-not-be-named already?

Where do we find the pop songs archive for tracks prior to 1992?
