Look at how many blue states are in the Top 15, actually!
Because the liberals fund public education so much that their overall rankings are far higher. In Arizona we haven't funded them as well as we should and so our publics are terrible. HOWEVER, we have many of the top schools in the nation from our charter system (gov. pays companies to run schools) such as BASIS and GCA. Matter of fact, iirc the vast majority of the best schools in the nation are charter or private! Vouchers and charters >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the broken public system.
