Summer and album tea!

She is also working with fellow coach Pharrell. “During my pregnancy, I had a meeting with him and just connected on where I want to take the next album, and we started talking music, and he has one song in particular that I love.”
What can fans expect from her new music? “It's genuine and it's heartfelt and I'm very excited to pour my heart out into this record fully, I’ve been gathering and writing and coming up with these amazing ideas for different parts of how I was feeling the past year, so I’m really excited to vocalize all of it and make it all come together.”

It's possible. I don't think it would take her long to record the songs though, right? What promo opportunities are available in Q3 (awards shows, etc.)?

I'm thinking it might be similar to Bionic. Perform the lead single at the Voice finale or something. She better not let opportunities go like she did for the other eras.

Sadly, if all she has is demos, she's at 15 - 20% of the process. Trust me on this. The way she phrased it points out to a late Q3 - Q4 release. There's so much left to do. Laying down the vocals, adding background vocals, adlibs and harmonies, mixing, doing vocal arrangement, mastering, sending the record to the label, picking the single, booking promo at least 3 weeks in advance...
She's still active though, so no complaints. We have a performance to look forward to, she'll be on The Voice and she's still losing weight and adjusting

I'm fine with waiting if that's the case. I'd rather she take her time instead of pulling another Lotus.

She's been in the studio since Wango Tango last year, so I'm fairly certain she's already recorded a lot. As well as posting this..
It's kinda hard to tell what stage Christina is at because she's such a perfectionist (excluding the Cactus mixtape) but I'm confident she's much closer to finalizing the album than what she's implying.

I know she's been in the studio for a long time, but, strictly based on her choice of words, I'm not getting my hopes up just so that I won't get disappointed. I still get to watch her transform to her September 2013 body gradually and see new outfits and appearances every week, so I'm fine with it
Maybe a collab would be nice next month

Btw I think some of ya'll are confusing 'too much makeup' with 'dramatic makeup' which Christina is definitely no stranger to, technically speaking, she's wearing the same amount of makeup any other pop girl wears in a interview.

Her makeup is lovely imo, it's blended well for the Gods. Her eyebrows are very her lol. I'm used to them.
