When CBT flopped they said she'd never recover. Now after she was the biggest cultural phenomenon of 2013 they think she needs to prove herself as someone who's not just a spur of the moment. She's been proving herself for 8 years.

If she were to prove her global power she'd have to tour Japan and other parts of Asia.

well even madonna has never been to NZ,only katy/gaga/rihanna/beyonce have toured there so it would say something but she should go to japan aswell

Well I do kinda have to admit I like when people underestimate Miley because it makes it all the more enjoyable when she comes busting out the gates with hits and whatnot

I remember when I feared that We Can't Stop would be a Pom Poms sized #5 peak on iTunes mess. (No offense Onion.) Then she hit #1 and opened with 214k and I was like oh. Every achievement she notched during the Bangerz era hit me by surprise.

Truthfully speaking and trolling aside, how do you guys think her next era will go? I know "image change, different music, we don't know!" but since we did predictions before the Bangerz era started (all of us being way off, me the most ) might as well do them again.

There was something about her already doing 2 songs with Mike and they still have Nightmare locked up so I wouldn't be surprised if she went with Luke again, so it looks like they're staying with the Bangerz formula. I'll aim low and say her next album will sell 600k in the US and 1.3m WW.

It does seem like they're staying with the Bangerz formula (music wise?) hopefully they're smart enough to know that the excessive controversy won't fly. I don't wanna aim too high either so I'm gonna say her album will go Gold at most and sell over a million worldwide

i honestly think that instead of her being a hood rat she's now a hood rat dirty hippie.i feel like how madonna is with dance music,miley will be like that with urban music/ballads/indie,etc.so it will be like bangerz meets backyard sessions.and we all know miley loves controversy

I don't know what to expect music wise but we all know if she continues to be controversial it won't get her anyway anymore. The album will go gold and sell 1M worldwide, that's what I think. Platinum in the US if she has a smash single.

I hope she does like half an album of Bangerz-esque Mike/Pharrell tracks and a Dr. Like track or two but then she flips the switch on the second half of the album and does more experimental music and explores genres she hasn't done before (or revisit on ones she's dipped her toes in like reggae). Miley should do a dancehall track.
