Yet singles impact literally doesn't track in anything else Rihanna does.
She has less social media followers (don't laugh, this is a huge promotional platform)
She has less SPS
She has less album sales
She has less acclaim
She has less tour gross
She has less google searches (both artist and song)
So aside from her single being a successful single, where else does it factor?
If I understand correctly, your logic is: The single is successful, therefore the artist matters more
My question is: ...Umm...matters more where?
The single as the end all be all is very... dead end.
