Can someone please tell me how to resize an image?

I thought this forum can do it automatically but it doesn't. I posted some images in my personal blog and it doesn't resize itself and then I posted them in a post that I made some time ago and it doesn't do neither.

Can someone please tell me how to do that? Or do I have to resize my images to the size of a post? If I have to do that can you please tell me the pixels x pixels of it?
