Just be careful with who you share what with, and I'm only advising that from personal experience. Before you declare someone you've only known for a short time one of your best friends, just remember that the years of loyalty with this person aren't there as opposed to other people in your life who you've known for years and know they won't ever wish you harm.

Despite how long you've may have known each other, I would always say still be cautious if the person has done some shady things to you before... I say just get the D and go. And I'm young too, we live and learn. We're all trying to figure it out.
