Oh, synchro summon is quite easy.  Another question: how does the xyz detach thing work? I tried the ai duel on ygopro and the ai summoned this xyz monster and I attacked it with my superior monster. I thought to myself "this is easy as pie hehe!" but no! It wasn't sent to the graveyard and instead it remained on the field and it's atk points increased by 800 because of this detach thing.

And damn Pendulum Summon. So you could summon 5 high level monsters in one turn?

Most Effect Xyz Monsters use their Attached cards to activate their effects. The monster you mention must be this one:
As you can see, its effect reads: "If a "Battlin' Boxer" monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or by a card effect, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card instead of destroying 1 of those monsters."
That means that when you attacked it, as it is a "Battlin' Boxer" monster, it activated its effect, so it detached one card and prevented the destruction, so it remained on the field.
Also, the second effect of this monster reads: "When an Xyz Material(s) is detached from this card: This card gains 800 ATK."
As you can see, by preventing its destruction it detached 1 Xyz Material, so the second effect activates, and it gained 800 ATK.
But that is only for that monster, each Xyz Monster has different effects, not all of them can prevent destruction nor gain ATK for detaching.

I summoned all those 5 monsters at the same time.

Change the title to "Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V Premiered".
OMG it was amazing, the OP and EN were super cool! I never liked any OP and EN for Zexal.
OMG the Action Duel was so amazing!!
I can't at a single episode of ARC-V being 10000 times better than the 146 episodes of Zexal.

Well, ARC-V has only aired 1 episode, 13 hours more for the 2nd episode to air.
So if you have to watch Yu-Gi-Oh! and want something new, you can watch zexal or either episodes of DM, 5D's or GX.
If you wanna watch just random episodes I recommend GX because 5D's and DM have a storyline and you probably won't understand a lot of things if you watch random episodes, GX on the other hand is completely random with its first 120 episodes.
Besides everyone and their mothers pretend that Zexal never happened and that after 5D's we got ARC-V right away.

Thanks, i arleady finished the first 3 generations, and i am stuck at the start of zexal's second season, that's why i was asking if it's worth finishing the whole generation, it's kinda unwatchable.

those basic monster designs 
Hopefully this main character US voice is perfect and the character isnt as obnoxious and annoying as Yuma's

Actually I'm stuck in episode 128 because I had to watch it because it's like I want to watch each series and everything. But I have watched each episode only ONCE, which is totally different than DM, GX and 5D's. I've watched the whole 5D's like 10 times, the whole DM like 8 times and the whole GX like 7 times, and I'm watching them again lol. But I hate Yuma because he's so stupid and the worst character in the whole Zexal series, I mean, after the flawless Yusei, the badass Yugi and the mega charismatic Judai they give us that ****ing ****. The good thing is that Yuya is super lovable, I have watched the first episode like 7 times this week, 7 more times than the whole Zexal series.

Yuya is flawless, his voice, his personality is like I wanna hug him. He's gonna slay, mark my words.
I hated Yuma since the first time he opened his *** mouth. And Astral is HORRIBLE.

And the story lines were a mess and most of the duel just being Monster Summoning Animations
Just expecting greatness from this season

I will list what went wrong with Zexal:
1.- Yuma and Astral: Annoying, stupid, the pits of humanity.
2.- Yuma and Astral again: Seriously, I have to list them twice because they are the worst.
3.- The really good characters were paid dust. I mean, the other characters were actually cool and I like them but they NEVER dueled more than 2 times, like what kind of wasted talent.}
4.- Kotori being useless. I had my eyes set on her because I thought she would duel and be a cool duelist. I was so wrong.
5.- ONLY XYZ Summons. Where were the Synchro, Ritual, Fusion, Advance (tribute) summons????? All duels were about 100% Xyz. Each duelist will summon a non-xyz just to get a Xyz and would do anything else that Xyz summon.
6.- The duels were basically the same all the time. There were no different strategies, they were always about making combos with the Xyz monsters. I mean, GX was amazing for this, each duel in GX showed different strategies and different archetypes and were amazing. Zexal was basically the same duel all 146 episodes.
7.- The duel disks. Seriously? What the hell, they were horrible.
8.- The shining draws. Once each 100 duels is okay because it goes with the plot... but depending all the time on shining draws and making up cards out of thin air was beyond stupid. Action cards on ARC-V make more sense than that ****.
9.- The numbers. Okay, all the time they preached about the 100 numbers, it was the plot, actually the plot is the only thing that keeps you watching zexal, but they didn't even showed the whole 100 numbers, there are like 20 missing. What kind of Sakura Card Captor "I caught some cards on the holidays off screen and they exist but you will never get to see them in action" mess.
10.- Finally, the STUPID Zexal power, aka the fusion of Astral and Yuma... I know, the plot says they were the same being in the past but then don't make it look so dumb.
11.- The over use of computer to make monsters... I hate when they mix computer made characters with drawings. Those designs do not mix, and in zexal each damn Xyz monsters was virtually made by the designing team of the anime.
12.- Openings and endings were unlistenable and unwatchable. Didn't like any of them, sorry.
Now I will tell the good things of zexal:
1.- The plot. The plot is cool, it's dark and twisted. The 7 villains actually were killed in extremely amazing ways, even better than the Dark Signers of 5D's. If only Yuma and Astral didn't exist...
2.- The soundtrack, Zexal's OST is so enjoyable, that it made some scenes totally epic.
3.- Each duelist besides Yuma. Kaito, Shark, Rio, Mizael, Vector!! were amazing duelist, that even make you forgive them for their constant use of Xyz monsters.
4.- The villains. Totally twisted, dark and super evil. This villains didn't let down, they can compete with the msot amazing villains on Yu-Gi-Oh!'s history: Bakura, Marik, Nightshroud, Yubel, Dark Signers and the ALMIGHTY Z-One.
Basically, I could forgive the points 3 to 11 if the first 2 didn't exist. AKA, they had to do Yuma being a badass duelist like Yugi, Judai and Yusei. But they made it a total moron, that had his good moments, but only like the 25% of the time.
