It kinda bothers me when Best Picture has a ****** screenplay. Kinda like when the horrible The Revenant was a frontrunner last year until Spotlight pulled through.

The difference is that La La Land is going to win Best Picture so in reality it is still beating The Grand Budapest Hotel. Grand Budapest should have won BP in 2014 tho.

Yeah it's just interesting cause Budapest was R-rated but I guess it's a case of Searchlight >>> Lionsgate
Plus if you look at Ryan Gosling's career he's got this ceiling of $11M openings when he's the main star
