Clive Davis HATED the album and wanted her to go back to the studio and record some "hits", Kelly refused, and as a consequence, she was humiliated and her album was SABOTAGED. Her first single was PULLED from radio stations as soon as it was released, despite the fact that it debuted in the Top 10.
Then she quickly followed up "My December" with "All I Ever Wanted", a happier, poppier album than its predecessor and all of a sudden, she starts getting hit singles left and right and she was in good graces with the industry again.
I think during the My December era, Kelly had enough, and wanted out of the industry, but the elite roped her back in it seems like. Either they REPROGRAMMED her after My December to make her more compliant, or they killed her off and had her replaced. Either way, I thought the whole story was creepy as hell.
i believe it. Lil Wayne has had problems trying to drop what he said is his last album. he had a very public fall out with his longtime record executive pal Birdman who tried to out him as a gay rapper etc. MJ had his last album (Invincible) practically sabotaged by his label. And several other artists have had their albums/careers sabotaged by them when they try to defy them.
Kelly also said some very cryptic things after Amy Winehouse died, like she was chosen .

Lauryn Hill refused to join and they sabotaged her albums and her career! Lauryn made an album called Live MTV Unplugged, and that album spills a lot of tea. The lyrics of a song specifically called "I Get Out" are about her leaving the recording industry and getting out. That whole album is a gem but it's very deep and takes time to go thru/digest every song and its lyrics. It's very good tho. That album is the reason why she was made to look like she was a racist lunatic (discredited/embarrassed by the elite for not joining them and for speaking out against them as well).
Dave Chappelle made some skits on his show about what happens when Hollywood comes to you and offers you a deal. He talked about getting endorsements etc. (unfortunately i can't find the skits online). his show was cancelled because he "crossed the line with his skits" (too racist, yet Family Guy and South Park are still going strong despite all of the **** those shows say). But it was really because Dave declined joining the club and because he used his last skits of his show to tell more than he should. He then went to Africa for a while with his family to literally get away from all those people because he was scared for his life.

except Tupac predicted his death not once but many times and the way he did plus the things he said before he passed is something else. he spilled a lot of tea on these people in his interviews and his music. they didn't want him releasing conscious/positive music: Dear Mama, Brenda's Got A Baby, Keep Ya Head Up, Wonda Why They Called You Bitch, Smile For Me, To Live & Die In LA, They Don't Give A **** About Us, etc. MJ same thing - the elite didn't want him singing/writing positive music but he did anyway which was one of the ways he defied them. Another was with the amount of charity he did. when you're IN you are supposed to give money to charities approved by the elite and you can only give up to a certain amount.
