I know streaming is the future, and while I hardly buy anything on iTunes nowadays since getting Apple Music, it should stay there for people to have the incentive to still buy downloads. Just like physical copies and vinyls. It shouldn't be completely eliminated, especially since iTunes is the main download seller in the industry, hardly anyone uses Amazon MP3 or Google Play MP3. Drake pulling 1M in a week from an iTunes release alone should let them see its a feature they shouldn't kill anytime soon as there's still a big market.

This is just reality and nobody should be surprised about it. Digital downloads are consistently decreasing in popularity and streaming is consistently increasing. This will continue until digital downloads become a non-factor (it's on its way there now).

Sales are the pits now and only getting worse, Billboard hot 100 rules will alter and be more in favor of streaming and radio until the point where sales is only like %20 power in charting until they get rid of it.
