Yes, Christina sold a lot of albums in the late '90s and early '00s. Kudos to her, I mean it. But that was an amazing time for album sales.
Times are different and now EVERYONE (Gaga included) has trouble hitting those big sales. Bionic's dismal sales are a prime example of why Christina's stans shouldn't belittle artists who debuted during this difficult period for music. As evidenced by Bionic's performance, it ain't easy selling albums in 2010.

Maybe not, that would flop too.
If she had to stick to one sound and maybe deviate from that a little bit, it would be the R&B/BTB sound. She has a voice perfectly suited for R&B and she needs to delve deeper in that. I'm tired of this chameleon gimmick that she feels she needs to do with every album.

I don't think she's over either. The biggest mistake you can make is underestimate someone. TBH I think Christina did that a lot to her peers and to newcomers. You should never underestimate anyone.

She did nothing creatively. I was so disapointed. The material was good and had some potential. I thought that imagery was going to be futuristic, creative, and unique but she just sold sex and did nothing Bionic except the cover. The performances were decent but we didn't really get a true Bionic performance that held the creativity that I thought she was going to put into this.
