It sounds like a pre-school version of TEOG to me. I don't understand the acclaim. Tbh I was quite bored and underwhelmed when I listened to it the first time.
This situation really reminds me of Who Knew bye P!nk. Everybody loved it but it flopped, then she went on rereleasing the single, and it smashed, even went top 10 on Hot 100.
