2. Post Christmas sales for anything are always a disaster, hence why everyone (except Twenty One pilots) declined in sales this week.

Adele's sales were so massive that she was obviously going to have a huge drop. Plus Hello is starting to finish up and we likely won't be seeing WWWY start impacting until around the Grammys.

The drop was larger than expected but there is not holiday boost anymore so these are her normal sales, she should stabilize through January until the next single does its thing and the grammys happen.

You might be right. Her radio updates are still massive and even if LY takes over on iTunes soon, I doubt the gap will be that big (and both songs might end up switching with each other).
