She doesn't have a classic because her songs have not been out for years.

This place thinks a big hit equals a classic. Thriller, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun, Smells Like Teeen Spirits, AIWFCIY and songs that have been out for decades and are recognized by EVERYONE are classics.

A song can't be a classic if it hasn't even been out for 10 years.

Her songs are recognizable. When people hear the song, let's say Like a Prayer, they immediately recognize it and sing it - A CLASSIC. Does not matter that NO ONE plays that anywhere, doesn't matter that it has 10M views on Youtube and so on.

The same goes to Gaga. Even Paparazzi and Alejandro can become classic considering how often I've heard in real life "Ale-Alejandro or Papa - Paparazzi" after the use of the name Alejandro or if someone brought up paparazzi

It's not nonsense, its a perfectly logical argument. And chart positions on iTunes are also subject to the strength of other songs at the time and how much they're selling; Unless you've got the receipts then for all we know, Bruno may have actually been selling less even if he was higher up the iTunes chart as they were a year apart.
