...Baby One More Time was outcharting Femme Fatale by the end of 2011 (check your Soundscan the week of August 28th). It's her second best catalog seller after GH:MP.
On top of that, since November 29th, 2012, ...BOMT has sold 70k in the U.S. Let's hope TF+M holds up that late in to its lifespan.
Is TF+M just a really poor physical seller? Or is this another week where it's discounted? I can't find it in the top 200 albums displayed by my iTunes charts. I know those '80s albums are discounted.
The Fame is #1033 & #1397 on iTunes. TIC is #773 and True Blue is #1240. BOMT is not charting at all and it never is. A lot like how Born this Way charted; all in one year and then that's it.

True Blue outsold Gaga's career sales, no shade but those extra 10 copies wont do much
2 of them were lol. Like A Virgin (1984) sold 21m and True Blue (1986) sold 23m. Her Greatest Hits was released in 1990 and did 28m This is much bigger than any other pop girl's peak.
TF has an asterisk next to it when you compare sales because it's the LP + the EP re-release.
That isn't bigger than the peaks of Mariah, Whitney, or Celine.
Madonna has 3 albums above 20m That's much better than 1 album above 30m
Concerts grossed MUCH less back in the late 90s/2000s compared to now. Ticket prices were much lower.
So does Whitney and one of those is a 30m+ seller, actually 40m+.

The fact that the OP refuses to address Bey as a legendary anything compared to Britney's legendary peak over 15 years ago. You know who was also slaying, score more #1 hits than Britney over 15 years ago? Destiny's Child.
