If you don't include MX's interludes, every Coldplay album is around 10 songs, the longest being X&Y at 13. So it's safe to assume it will probably be around 10 or 11 songs in length.

Generally, 10-13 songs is a perfect album length...I prefer tight cohesive albums

What he means is hat they put everything into their album as if they are trying to go out with a bang. That's why all their albums are flawless

It was confirmed a while ago that the album has 11 tracks.
