i think ciara is best when she has
songs that appeal to all the formats
because that's what worked with the
"goodies" era and why it was so hugely
successful and why it got her so many
fans in the first place......

if she only limitsherself to only urban then
that's like going a step backwards:-/ i think
peopleshould wait til they hear the full song
beforethey say anything else because it could
end up sounding like a song that would be
played for pop radio stations too.....

I think what they are trying to do is, hit her CORE hard first.
Which is what they failed to do last era, all the singles were POP. Had she released "High Price" & "Like A Surgeon" instead of "Go Girl" & "Never Ever" she would have done WAY better.
She has a promo tour lined up for either month of July or August. So the album is really coming in the SUMMER.
I think they know what they're doing.

well her core is from the "goodies" era and
all those songs were equally appealing to
urban and pop at the same time.....TE
appealed mainly to urban and FR was
more pop sounding but the only actual
single that was pop was "love sex magic"
because "never ever" appealed more to
R&B and urban stations more than pop....

I agree that she shouldn't limit herself to just ONE format but it looks like she will have 2 singles before the album so even if this one just impacts urban radio, She will have the POP hit coming right after this!
