This topic is endless. ATRL will never call Taylor global unless every country in Europe has her somewhere in the Top 10. No point discussing with people who are dead set on calling her local and crying never ending reasons and personal experiences on how she's unknown where they're from.
Just because the U.S. is her biggest market and she's not as big as some of her peers overseas doesn't mean she's not global, she just may not be as global as those artists And either way, she's still slaying an incredible number of countries WW even if she can't muster a hit single in countries like Germany or France.
Just because she is not popular in Europe doesnt mean she's local.
1989 alone sold 3 million outside of the US, and her previous two albums sold about 2.5 million each.
Most pop girls wish their WW sales were half of those numbers
I mean she is getting all those yens from her 300,000 album copies of 1989 sold in Japan, and her lead single getting closer to 400,000 downloads, and her sold out 2 days tour in front 110,000 people?
