No, I think The Weeknd is fine, this is really a massive smash for him

How can this be the worst #1 of all time when Bad Blood and See You Again were just #1

Cheerleader is tragic but at least See You Again isn't on top anymore
Omi better not get confortable because Abel is coming for the top spot.

I'm so happy right now. Cheerleader got that deserving top spot and Weeknd is coming for many weeks at number one

I'm nervous about "Can't Feel My Face" tho. I see it surpassing 6 weeks at #1 cuz there's nothing really threatening it right now. Hopefully it won't go over 10 weeks. I love the song, but I hate these constant long #1s.

That's why i can deal with cheerleader hitting #1 because when Can't feel my face hits #1 it might overstay it's welcome. By the fall time, there will be many new singles that will overtake it. So for now, let Cheerleader take July, CFMF take August and by September many new singles will come to scratch ha face all up. She won't be feeling ha face for other reasons.

This week's Billboard 200 (dated July 25) acts as a transition chart between the two different tracking cycles, and reflects a one-time only 11-day sales tracking frame (ending July 9).
The new July 25-dated chart is, as one would expect, very similar to the July 18 chart. That's not only because of the extended 11-day tracking frame that overlaps with the July 18 chart, but also because so few new albums were released between July 6-9.
Leading the new Billboard 200 is Meek Mill's Dreams Worth More Than Money, which racks up a second stanza at No. 1. The album moved 307,000 equivalent album units in the 11-day frame ending July 9. That sum combines the 246,000 units it earned in the week ending July 5 with the 61,000 units it collected between July 6 and July 9.
Taylor Swift's 1989 rises 3-2 (77,000 units), Miguel's Wildheart slips 2-3 (65,000) and Ed Sheeran's X holds at No. 4 (63,000). The soundtrack to Magic Mike XXL dances up five slots, climbing 10-5 with 48,000. Sam Hunt's Montevallo moves 8-6 (48,000 units), Breaking Benjamin's Dark Before Dawn falls 6-7 (43,000), James Taylor's Before This World descends 5-8 (41,000) and X Ambassadors' VHS dips 7-9 (39,000). Maroon 5's V rounds out the top 10, stepping 11-10 with 38,000.

I sent a second tweet to better clarify the change we're talking about, and to say a bunch of us @atrl are confused so they know who's asking. I'm going to bed, so I'll let you know tomorrow if I get an answer, and will copy and paste it if I do.

That is nothing. 21 had sold 6.2 million copies going into the 2012 Grammy's, the biggest seller in years, so the insiders who "knew it all" said no matter how well Adele did at the Grammy's, her album was spent. She gained significantly in the final hours of that week, and then sold 700,000, the best week for the album overall, the first full week after the awards. 1989 is no 21, but there are still plenty of people left to buy the album!
