Foxy and Nicki will never reach Kim's prime in terms of delivery, flow, lyricism or stage presence so Kim wins by default.

Foxy and Nicki are close to one another, but Foxy wins because Nicki is yet to deliver a solely rap album and while some of her feature verses slay, she's yet to have a rap single as flawless as I'll Be.

The only to MC's who've ever went to war with Kim and won are Nicki and Foxy imo. Foxy absolutely murdered Kim with that Bang Bang verse. Nicki's flow and rapping style are way more diverse than Kim's, and although Kim does have some pretty amazing lyrics that've been handed to her, Nicki's best lyrics > Kim's IMO.

"Lady Marmalade" was Pop, but Lil Kim was on first and foremost as a RAPPER. That makes quite the difference. That's a huge feat all on its own.

The only other person to actually do it with an actual Rap song was Remy Ma with "Lean Back".

I wouldn't count Shawnna's #1 either since she is just solely singing the chorus in "Stand Up" by Ludacris. But maybe her stans (if there are any) can disagree.

I just don't see how a female rapper "singing" a song will contribute to them being the "first female rapper or even one of" to receive a #1. They didn't rap.

Kim's delivery, flow and attitude give you the essences of a true female rapper boss that always has that hood side
Nicki's punchlines and clever wordplay shows that she aims for that wow factor and works in pop and urban
Foxy gives you that sass mixed with pain that makes you connect and feel her.

Based on lyrics, content, message, story telling, delivery, flow, and other factors
Kim > Nicki > Foxy

Although I think Foxy is terribly underrated.
