And people dissing Mariah need to keep in mind who has more chart topping singles. Let us also not forget that Mariah has several singles that have stayed at #1 for more than ten weeks, something that Madge never achieved and never will. Hell, she cannot even make the HOT 100 these days.

She is no longer a sales powerhouse, and we need to face it. Neither is Mariah. Yet both of them are legends in their own right.

Only rabid stans would claim at this point that either of these ladies rule the music industry, or the charts. But their merits and legacy should not be denied.
