Looking forward to the video. Hopefully she takes it more seriously than IRLY (although I did really love that video). If this doesn't take off she most likely never will again, this is a perfect balance of pure pop with the alternative sound that listeners are buying into these days - which wasn't present in IRLY.
Just heard the official version and wow pop smash waiting to happen. The chorus is perfect.
Scooter is a damn fool if he can't get this song to take off. It has insane replay value and should be easy to snowball it as a hit. Radio will do the bulk of the work as long as she has some interesting radio interviews/promo with it along the way.
He better come through with her next US smash or I have to question his ability as a manager.
After Japan promo which will probably end in some days, Carly has no tour dates until the 25th. Music video should be filmed this time. PLEASE radio support this!
The saxophones makes the song sound very nostalgic.
The chorus is also massive while the verses are calm. It's a well crafted radio song. If it doesn't do well on radio at the very least then something is wrong cause it's formatted for it in every way possible.
