kesha peaked #1 but that doesn't mean nothing, there are a lot of artists and a tons of albums that didn't peak #1 and SOLD MILLION of ALBUMS.
Ke$ha has appeared in a lot of shows, why do you say "with almost no promo"
And the same could be applied to Ke$ha she might be an artist with ONE hit album...
It's become so rare nowadays that a brand new artist debuts with that much right off the bat, even with big hits.
