-Blocked her from #1 on the Bilboard Hot 100
-Broke her record for highest weekly sales by a female
-Replaced her on the United World Chart
-Is about to debut at #1 on the albums chart, when The Fame only opened at #17
-"Tik Tok" has passed "Bad Romance" in sales

lady gaga is working hard because she wants longevity...
anh honestly this release actually is a good thing because without a strong song like bad romance the new singers would have eclypsed her

It will probably be somewhere between 21-25 this week and top 15 next week if it stays in the top 10.
If it goes to #3 or #4 on iTunes for a whole week, it has a chance at hitting top 10.

oh now I get it! what a fail. Gaga didnt have a #1 single back when she released The Fame.
All these Ke$ha stans know nothing about music.
I like Ke$ha but her album was just released. She has yet to prove she's an artist. I don't like an artist because of her debut single only its what they have to bring on the table every time they release an album or a single.
But dont get me wrong I DONT HATE Ke$ha. I said I like her.

I just mean, with all the big promo, her label could of thought a bit better and released her to itunes a few weeks later

The Fame just passed 8 million worldwide, and her total record sales are at 40mill+. It's just 21 days till the Grammys where she'll perform and has 5 nominations and on top of all this acclaim & success she gets to do what she really enjoys every single night - playing for her fans at sold out shows
There's no reason to feel sorry for her. Trust

Kesha will be lucky to go gold, while Gaga's album is already 2x platinum and it is still in the Top 3.

I think she can go gold. But she would be lucky if she passes 1.5 million.

Whats da need to feel bad for Gaga, with regard to the IT breakthrough artist, one can't remain the IT girl 4ever, last year it was gaga, this yr it will be kesha next yr it will be somebody else, gaga broke records, kesha broke sum of her records, soon somebody else will break those very same records. Its a cycle.
What matters is longevity, to sustain success n so far, although its very early gaga is doing a very good job. People r talking as if br was a flop. The song was #1 in the world for 4/5( can't remember which it is) consecutive weeks, dats more dan good enough, just 1 week at #1 is a big deal, it can't stay #1 4ever, its worldwide sales r still huge n doing beta da sum of gaga's previous releases, it became gagas's 5th radio #1 dats excellent , just because it didn't peak at #1 on da hot 100 doesn't mean we need to feel bad for gaga, she's still out selling much more established artist.
We can start feeling bad, wen her songs don't enter da top 40, n her albums n concerts don't sell, n den we can say ppl r getting bored of her,but for now her life n career is looking pretty good.
