I mean Azealia's still fine after the Hot 97 thing and Nicki's still fine after the BET Awards thing. I don't think the media will eat this up and "go further than branding" (if they even go that far), like you suspect they will. I don't think anyone really cares that much about her being dissed. Especially not at this point.

LOL. Yeah azealia received more critical acclaim for her album after the hot 97 thing but out of the three I honestly see her benefitting the least. I think it will look as petulant as a catfight and that the urban community will eat it up because who's the #1 target this year? Iggy nad that GP will make this news while it's hot but then it will die down...but if Iggy were to respond it will keep things going and make her seem not above it all...not a good move for her. Iggy actually is accepted in the top 40 mainstream world. She gets booked to interview and perform at those radio concert thingy's. I have a feeling the GP wants her to be a female flo rida/pitbull. Also, I don't underestimate the "cultural smudging" and racism that exists in turning this into a petty catfight with two against one (case in point Tidal and how the media is going in --not only because it's underperforming like many business have in the past).
They need to perform this at summer jam or something and make it appear like female unity which will be good for hip hop.
again, this all assuming a) that it'll happen (i'm confident it will) and b) that they will even address iggy.
The ultimate shade would be to not even mention or passively shade ha...Kreayshawn ha. That would be unexpected. I wouldn't hold my breath on that though
