I agree, homophobia and racism are tow entirely different principals. But it's important to not neglect the fact that homophobia is heavily influenced by straight supremacy, while you're on the 'supremacy' note.

Again. There is no hypocrisy because the reasoning behind condemnation of gays is entirely different to one of POC. It concerns morality (of an action. Not a people), i.e a black person who is homophobic most likely for religious reasons would say "under natural moral law", "according to the bible" this is wrong etc. And it is done with good intentions of doing the perceived right thing. Whereas racism is practiced for self serving reasons, and concerns a people as opposed to an action. If you are the type of person to see homosexuality as an act/lifestyle instead of a separate race/species, then the school of thought for racism is going to be completely different to one of homophobia. Not saying that I'm here for any bigotry. But if you're calling it hypocrisy you clearly don't understand the nuances of the matter.

I get what you're saying but a lot of Mormans think dark skin is a curse and white skin is a blessing so if a person was to discriminate against a black person based on that would you consider that to be done with "good intentions"?

You think this "morality" in of itself isn't rooted in us vs. them? of course it is! And all the religious nonsense is just an attempt at justifying a flawed morality which is based on an irrational fear of anything different. It's the same thing when some people say that gays don't have a history and other groups like Jews or black people had it worse, meanwhile I'm living in a country where gay people were brought to concentration camps under the Pink Triangle.
