I mentioned this when I first saw Tidal's interface. It's so blatant. If they wanted to be so different, they could have went with a much different interface. Otherwise, it's just another Spotify.
All of this bad publicity It'd be funny if it finds a way to overcome it. But I can't say that I'm surprised or not low-key happy it's getting the backlash.
The drag was unprofessional and unnecessary. For those of u praising them, u think spotify having monopoly over subscription streaming is a good thing?

Spotify could do everything Tidal is doing - release videos, exclusive stuff, go lossless - but at the end of the day, they realise that they're already doing enough to be the market leaders by a long, long way. Maybe if Tidal ever gets close, Spotify will make a move and do something else but for now, I don't think anyone's losing any sleep.

How is having a more expensive option good for the majority of consumers? Anyway, Apple is coming. If anyone is able to dethrone Spotify, it’s them.
