Did you not hear from Digital News that come april 1, there are rumors that Spotify is going to be purchased; perhaps by Universal Music and after that you will not be able to stream for free at all. You will have to pay a subscription whether it is Spotify or even Youtube. Apparently it might be coming to that. There are major move going on right now. And you won't even to be able to pirate songs as government rules are coming that will be extremely strict.

No one has this attitude with corporations because for most people they lack a human face to them. But with music, there definitely is a person attached, the artist or the performer, which makes people suddenly have this "I don't want to throw money at the rich" attitude.

Why do ya'll want Spotify to be the ONLY major streaming service for the next 100 years?

For example, Spotify's latest update took away the "search" feature in playlists. You have to scroll through a playlist to find a song you wanna play. Imagine if you over 200 songs in that playlist? Yet they're very nonchalant about fixing such a SMALL issue cause they have no competition.

This will light a fire under everyone's ass.
