Favorite Tracks - Get On Your Knees, Four Door Aventador & Feeling Myself
After the likes of Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, I had cast Nicki out as anything but an albums artist, but this most recent effort is miles beyond anything Onika has ever attempted. What I enjoy most about this album is that there is hardly any pop songs on it (atleast in comparison to PF:RR). It is a very diverse and eclectic effort and definitely one of the better/more cohesive rap albums released this year. Standout tracks - Get On Your Knees, Four Door Aventador & Feeling Myself.
First and foremost I'd like to mention that I was a fan of both Meghan and All About That Bass way before it achieved mainstream success. The video is wonderfully directed. It utilizes the idea of dollhouses and Barbie dolls, hence the meaning of the song and it's extremely clever especially considering this was Meghan's first ever video. I see plenty of wonderful video's in her future.
#12. I Luh Ya Papi
Artist - Jennifer Lopez f/ French Montana
Label - Capitol
Director - Jessy Terrero
Both the video for I Luh Ya Papi and the actual single itself are both undeservingly underrated. The video is an extremely sultry, modern take on a typical video that utilizes attractive women as backdrops, except in this video the backdrops are gorgeous shirtless men. Needless to say it catches my attention for many reasons. It's just a really fun video basically.
