That howl before the last chorus always makes me cringe hard but I love how insanely catchy this is.
Second out of three appearances by Maroon 5.

John Legend - All of Me
from "Love in the Future" Listen here
This is no Ordinary People and I'm still shocked by the fact it had the success it gathered but after all this is a really nice ballad. The vocoder annoys me but I guess it has a logic.
Only appearance by John Legend.

Pharrell Williams - Happy
from "G I R L" Listen here
Another nice song that happened to shock me with its success. I mean, the claps and the rhythm gets to your head but I wouldn't have predicted this to be the juggernaut it was. Good for Pharrell, even though he didn't manage to capitalize on it.

Charli XCX - Break the Rules
from "Sucker" Listen here
The synth of that grunge-y guitar.. GOD! The lyrics are what they are, I'm still expecting them to be a sort of parody knowing Charli's previous work but the song works really well.
First out of three appearances by Charli XCX.

Lily Allen - Hard Out Here
from "Sheezus" Listen here
It seems we have lost the carefree and tongue-in-cheek girl we got to know with Smile, **** You or whatever and got this more straight-to-the-point Lily. The song is cool, the video too, hence why the charting here, but it can't compare to her old stuff.
Second and final appearance by Lily Allen.

Coldplay - Magic
from "Ghost Stories" Listen here
The magic is in the production here but I also really like the falsettos by Chris. They remind me of some other artist but I can't tell who..
First out of two appearances by Coldplay.

Hilary Duff - All About You
from "TBA" Listen here
A step back into the right direction after the incredibly bland Chasing the Sun that preceded it. Nowhere near Dignity but at least this single is good and has a direction.
You should be thankful at least one of the two charted
Anyway, I'm not sure I'll be able to update tonight. I'm going to see American Sniper and I don't know when I'll be back. If I won't make it, I'll do a double update tomorrow!

Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One
from "In the Lonely Hour" Listen here
A toned down, classy, heartfelt tune. I can somewhat relate to this so this explains why I played it much.
First out of three appearances by Sam Smith.

Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong
from "Black Star Elephant" Listen here
As Macklemore would say: "this is ****in' awesome!"
Only appearance by Nico & Vinz.

Nicki Minaj - Pills N Potions
from "The Pinkprint" Listen here
Eh.. not what we were expecting from Nicki. It's quite good, yeah, but not that great how an anticipated lead single should've been. I feel like the rap isn't strong enough here but the song doesn't flow bad.
