"Heaven, How Long"
from 'Total Strife Forever' - Listen Here
Genre: Art Pop, Synth Pop, Ambient Pop

This song is probably the closest to "normal Pop music" we'll find from this guy, and I like that - mainly because it's not normal at all. The progression in it, his vocals, the lyrics, and its climax. Lord, its climax it's fantastic. The video is simple, but works I guess.

"Bridges"
from 'Evergreen' - Listen Here
Genre: Synth Pop, Indietronica, Glitch Pop
|
Probably the reason of why this song is so low it's because of my overplay, because, seriously, I would listen to this like 6 times a day when it first come out. It's still a really nice song, and I still have got to check their album.

"No Other Lover"
from 'Oasis' - Listen Here
Genre: Deep House, Alternative R&B, UK Garage
|
So groovy! Literally, I can't believe that with all the Deep-House-revival thing going on, this wasn't a hit, but, oh well, it's still worth a few listens, it makes me so happy!

"Drive Part I"
from '1992 EP'- Listen Here
Genre: Alternative R&B, Indietronica, UK Bass

If Ben Khan is basically Jai Paul, then this is his "Jasmine". Such a smooth sensual song. And yes there is a scene where Lana Del Rey's "Blue Jeans" video appears. It's really the only comprehensible thing about its video.

"Giant In My Heart"
from 'Sound of a Woman'- Listen Here
Genre: Deep House, Dance-Pop, UK Garage

One of this year's dance anthems. I wish her album wasn't full of innecessary R&B ballads, but this song is probably one of her best, and the video's message is amazing too!

"Break Free"
from 'My Everything' - Listen Here
Genre: Electropop, Dance-Pop, Electro House
|
There's only one thing wrong with this song, the "I only wanna die alive" lyric, mainly because it doesn't make sense. But otherwise, it's a perfect EDM break-up anthem.

"Down from the Rafters"
from 'The Moon Rang Like a Bell' - Listen Here
Genre: Art Pop, Folktronica, Ambient Pop
|
Such a wonderful song, I wish I listened to it more, but the melodies and the lyrics are really beautiful, so it deserved to be here. A special mention goes to Tim Hecker's remix, it's just so magical it feels like you're levitating when listening to it.

"Artifice"
from 'Tremors' - Listen Here
Genre: Art Pop, Indietronica, Alternative R&B
|
I wish I have listened SOHN's album, guess I didn't have time to listen to it. But this song is really, really good. He's worked with Banks on "Waiting Game" and "Alibi", and if you like the latter, you'll love this.

"If I Could Change Your Mind"
from 'Days Are Gone' - Listen Here
Genre: Pop Rock, New Wave, Synth Pop

A cute 80's influenced pop-rock song from the Californian sisters. I really hope they win Best New Artist on the Grammy's! They're the only ones who deserve it.

"Water Fountain"
from 'Nikki Nack'- Listen Here
Genre: Art Pop, Freak Folk, Progressive Pop

Nikki Nack had some really great moments, and many weak ones. But, obviously, this was one of the greatest! WOO-HA WOO-HA!

Honestly, TRF.
