Lipping =/= backing track, I am not sure what you don't understand. Backing track servers just like having background singers, while the artist sings LIVE main vocals. Lipping is simply fake singing.

She is a talent figure who makes no wrong on stage. The stage wronged her to be honest. Lip-sycning isn't necessary a wrong. People have such an aversion to it because it presents a falsity but in reality so many of the greats have done it. Early TV shows were almost all lipsynced, so all those legends were doing it. Whitney, Mariah, Celine, the vocal trinity of the 1990s all have been exposed. It doesn't make them less talented, there are reasons for it.

The true issue with lip-syncing is when someone does it over the span of an entire career. That is what really should matter to people. As I've said, Beyoncé may have used help on Partition but she definitely did not need it on Resentment, a showstopper that is 100% live.

But a backing track isn't just background vocals like "oooooo" it's the same vocals as the singer sings, either lower than their voice or just as loud so that their mistakes don't show as much or so they can stop singing when they want.

A backing track is a background track of the vocals, lead and background...

Well, if you actually spent even a small fraction of the time researching as you do implying something you're not sure about you would know Bey is singing over a backing track.

Go watch some of the videos and compare the main vocals during the verses and you have your answer. You can hear big differences, especially in the video in the OP to the ones from some of the actual shows. There are parts where she struggles with her breathing and you can hear it clearly when she's on the poles..

But I guess that would take the fun out of it, huh?

How many times do we have to say, we all know she uses backtracks for songs like this. She is an amazing performer but still human. And she sings live all the time through her show, for difficult songs too. She's not just skipping around onstage and pretending to sing live all night.
