For a while, it sounded like they wanted to push her career into mainland China, but I knew that was going no where. Her Mandarin is worse than her English, although I wouldn't be against a Chinese album in the future.
I liked "Eien" a lot, but I knew it wasn't going to sell that well because her "Best of" album is coming out soon and the fact that she just isn't the hot thing in Japan anymore. After Best of Soul, people just stopped caring, unfortunately. "Winter Love" was her only really big hit after that.
The sad thing about BEST&USA is that I think Avex made it a double-release because they don't believe either one could sell on its own in Japan.

I have no idea wut you are talking about. Her biggest selling single, "Do The Motion," came out after "Best Of Soul" and she had two more singles cross the 100,000 copies sold mark in "Nanairo No Ashita" ~Brand New Beat~ and "Winter Love." It really hasn't been that bad. As for "Eien," it's as you said, single sales do dismal if they come out anytime after a CD release date has been made.
O.o @ the video. Looks HOT already!
It's just frustrating wut's going on with both Utada and BoA. They are bringing the fire with songs and videos, but the easiest thing, PR, hasn't come along yet! They're management just needs to work on getting them release dates on radio and the rest will fly. = /

My fault. I keep thinking "DO THE MOTION" is pre- Best of Soul. But aside from my mix-up over release dates, I wouldn't call "Nanairo No Ashita ~Brand New Beat~" a big single. It seemed more moderate in terms of success if you compare it to her first #1 single "DO THE MOTION", but I guess it would've been big at the time considering that "make a secret", "Dakishimeru", and "Everlasting" didn't perform as well as "DO THE MOTION". And didn't both that song and "Winter Love" stall between 90-100k? I'm sure they must have passed the 100k mark by now, but at the time, they hadn't sold 100k.
But all of her singles from THE FACE did pretty badly, including the single after it: VIVID.

That's true about the stalling, but updates haven't been made for two years, so I'm 100% sure it's passed, especially "Winter Love." Sales for that single and "Meri Kuri" spike every December. Anyways, any single that sells 100,000 copies is a real success to me. ;p
We'll see wut happens to the rest of her singles. I'm sure she'll recover. She's no fad. Koda Kumi is currently taking big hits too.

I'm assuming it's a leftover track that Brit didn't use cause I doubt she would write a song for especially for BoA.
Eiether way I'm excited for this album to leak

Is that confirmed?
Cool. She is working with a lot of the same people as Britney so it seems believable.
Though Im guessing this is somethign Brit wrote with Karlsson for "Circus" and didnt make it? When was the last time Britney wrote a song for another artist?

Hopefully that's true. That would definately generate some PR from the Britney fans who want to see her writing and she'll get some more exposure. ;p

It's from BoA's official site so I'm sure its accurate.
And yea, I'm also thinking its something Brit co-wrote but decided not to use.

What do you mean by "those type of artists"?
And Britney probably doesn't even know that they decided to give the song to BoA.

@ the hieght of BoA's career she was def. really popular but she wasn't on Britney status.
People have always pinned her as the "Britney Spears of Asia" which I don't understand as her popularity there has been declining for awhile now.
