I don't think this is needed. I mean, if the people vote, why can't we just leave it at that?
Because that thread has been done already, and it compiled pretty much the first generations of ATRL'ers, the ones that gave origin to what we have now as a wide community.
The last two events of this kind underperformed, so I'd bet this one will do well since it's due.
And on the note of the mods, they decide the rules and ban members. Doesn't get more influential than that. (Maybe Nicole who defined how a whole group of people posted for years.)
