This 100%. Sometimes a gun is the difference between life or death for a victim trying to protect themselves...and guns DONT kill people, people do (yes, I did just use the corny phrase)

Honestly why do people keep bringing up the UK, if they dont have a gun problem that's great for them! The US, however, has it explicitly stated in our constitution that we have the right to bear arms (some of you may not know that "arms" are guns) and that will not, and should not, be changed anytime soon.

I'm pretty sure people who kill did not even have a license to carry a weapon. Banning guns would not solve any problem.. it will cause more.

Could you supply some evidence for a gun ban creating more problems? Because every other developed country on earth has gun bans, and they have less problems with gun violence than America does. Surely if a gun ban caused more problems, we would see some.

Could you please explain why the countries that have gun bans don't have mass homicides at the rate that America does? If the crazies can just find another way to kill as efficiently and quickly without a gun, why don't they?

I don't think you guys realize that this isn't a hypothetical concept. Other countries DO have gun bans and they do not have gun violence or mass homicides freauently like America does. You're denying reality.

Could you please explain why America, the only developed country with no gun control, has an average of 2 mass homicides per month, almost all of which are perpetrated with guns, and every other developed country with strict gun control has none?

Okay so let's say 75% of them purchased it legally but if the gun ban law applied, these crazy people would still find ways to get those weapons. I'm not saying that there would be no improvement when the law is implemented but initially it will but overtime you will see the result of banning guns. These criminals would have more desire to kill since obtaining weapons are not that easy.

America should implement stricter rules than banning guns all the way. Reality check, these killers wont stop being the crazy **** head they were. Most people carry guns for safety purposes, for self defense. We should not rule out everyone because of some incidents. Guns are not necessary but some people feel the need to have a gun in their home in case something happens.

Again, stricter rules. Maybe a ****ing psych test as well before obtaning guns. Insane but we all need to do it.

If what you're saying is true, why don't other countries have the problem we do? If the crazies can just find a way to get a gun anyway, why don't they? Why doesn't any other developed nation on earth have 2 mass homicides a month, and over 10,000 gun deaths a year? Do you think that there are only crazy people in America?
