You Madonna fans know so much about Gaga but purposely ignore certain facts to further your agenda. Gaga's parents were not wealthy until the mid-nineties with the Internet boom. Even then, her parents spent most of their money putting their children into the best school possible.
Her parent's money had nothing to do with her work ethic. Her dad offered her a net to fall back on and to pay for things but she said no. She played hundreds of shows in various bars around NYC to pay her own way through the beginning of her career. She used to play at bars when she was 14 ffs.
It's pathetic to try and downplay any artist's struggle to reach the top. Gaga, Katy, Beyonce, Ke$ha, etc. They've all struggled to get to the top. There is no "who struggled more".
There's a reason why Beyoncé is the better vocalist and dancer out of all of these women. Getting around until you got signed =/= Working hard to be on top
