Lady Gaga must've found out that the average person in Greece doesn't have money to eat so she gave these journalists a generous donation so they can say good (untrue) things about her
That show was NOT during the big height of the economical crisis. It was 27 September 2008. The European Crisis started END TWO-THOUSAND-AND-NINE. Not 2008 like in the US.
Next to that, Madonna had deals everywhere. Bus advertisements, TV commercials, deals with cruise ships, much more.
What Gaga did was beyond impressive and you should just shut the **** up with your pressed ass being perched in every single Gaga thread like a reductive version of Swag. You're jealous aka pressed, that's obvious. But just STOP.
the fact that she sold almost 80,000 tickets (a record) in less than 2 days in greece during the big height of the economical crisis, I wouldn't be so sure of that.
6000 in one day. congrats!
The lies...
2008 was NOT the height of the economical crisis.
Madonna did NOT sell 80,000 tickets in two days
Actually 2008 was the year Grecians thought we were the richest nation and we were showering with money.
Anyway Gaga will probably end selling less tickets than Madonna, but let us not forget that Madonna toured Greece almost 3 decades after her career started and Gaga is coming 6 years into her career..
"Gaga is the biggest name in pop right now, Madonna is long forgoten, Katy is good but not good enough, Beyonce can't compete, in general Gaga is the only one that can combine pop and art through her artistic vision"
Slaying on Firday. its incredible she's playing at a venue like this with such a small roster of artists, it seems like such an honour to among legends like Madonna, U2, The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Guns N' Roses etc.
