2003 was a Beyonce year honestly. I know Britney overshadowed her with that mtv madonna performance and the album but she was really close that year. also was it 2006? Irreplaceable and those pants she wore were sung and worn everywhere! plus dream girls got her a ton of attention. so I guess id have to say 2006 was her it gurl moment because there wasn't any other pop girl that had a strong presence in music/tabloids etc to compete with her that year.
