I have 6 minutes between classes. I have all my classes in the senior "building" (it's attached to the main building) so it's not a big deal. But if I had a class on the other end of the school, that's how long it takes to get there, and that's not including going to the locker or restroom.
Girls aren't allowed to show their shoulders.
We have to wear lanyards around our necks at all times. This includes students and faculty. The teachers don't really care, aside from a few. They say it's for security, but they haven't explained how it helps. My US Government teacher had a very good reason why this is a thing: after Sandy Hook, they needed to show that they improved security in some way. If they take away that requirement, then there would probably be some huge backlash by the parents. I think it could even go national, knowing the media. Still, I would be fine with having the lanyard visible at all times.
We have to get parental approval for us to transfer the high school level classes we took in middle school. I understand for B's and C's, but if you have an A+ it should automatically transfer over. I think some people didn't even get the option of having parental approval and we're forced to take certain classes again to meet the requirements (like retaking Spanish I).
From 9th to 11th, we weren't allowed to use electronic devices from 7:35 to the end of the school day. We were supposed to leave them off and in our lockers. Teachers didn't really care as long as they weren't being used. This year as a senior, we're allowed to use electronic devices in the hallways and during lunch, and they need to be put away the rest of the day; teachers still don't care. This also applies only in our building; any seniors in the main building must follow the same rules as underclassmen. This semester, they are allowing underclassmen to use electronic devices only in the cafeteria during lunch.
Seniors are allowed to use laptops for school. They can either use a school-assigned laptop or can bring in their own; I chose the latter. We have to use the virtual desktop to even access the internet, and it can sometimes load slowly, or sometimes not at all.
My school considers 18 year olds living on their own as runaways apparently. Not really a rule but
We aren't allowed to leave the school at all during the day except for appointments (this includes lunch). We aren't supposed to have anything brought in either supposedly, but it happens.
Due to the "balanced calendar," (2-week fall, winter, and spring breaks plus a close-to-2-month summer break), my school shoves all snow days at the end of the year. We can't even use MLK Day or Presidents Day. This means we're going to be going an extra 4 days at the beginning of June. They're so close to having to push back graduation on the 6th.
My school is actually pretty tame compared to a lot of yours.
