Did anyone here get the opportunity to see him LIVE as well? I saw him twice. The first was in Chicago and it was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had at a concert. The second was in Vegas when he was honored with Billboard Award.

I saw him live on December 28, 2013 in Uncasville, CT. Nice show. Esperanza Spalding was the opener and Janelle Monae made a special appearance at the end.

He didn't sing some classics like When Doves Cry, Kiss, and Adore and most of the songs he did perform I've never heard...but What Have You Done For Me Lately, Diamonds & Pearls, and the extended version of Purple Rain were amazing!

I've ben trying to see Prince since high school but it never worked out because I wasn't able to afford good tickets or I was just somewhere else, but I saw this first show in Toronto for the Piano & Microphone Tour on March 25 this year. I missed going to Montreal because it didn't work out and it's like 3 hours from me. So of course like with all other shows announced its very sudden. I wasn't able to get tickets right away and after trying so many times I figured it wasn't going to happen. So the day of the show about 3-4 hours before i start trying again and all I could get was the ones for $290 so I thought 'that's a little much, if I can get one for under $200 I'll go to either show'. So I tried for both the 7 pm and 10 pm show and nothing, and calling I got nothing only the $290 ones I saw before. So I gave up for a bit, but then about 2 hours before I checked one last time and BAM got one for $182 so grabbed it quick.

It was an amazing show, over 2 hours of just Prince on the piano with no other visuals than the kaleidoscope one. His music is so incredibly versatile that even when you hear it in a different style you don't get the 'I wish he did it this way' feeling. I'll never forget how well he interacts with the crowd, you don't think he would with how standoffish his persona is, but he jokes around a lot with the audience and changes his lyrics too 'You don't have to Dynasty OR KARDASHIANS to have an attitude'.

I wasn't the biggest Prince fan ever, but I did really enjoy his music, especially 80s Prince. But I did have a little breakdown earlier on my way into work. It was dark outside and several big buildings/landmarks are lit up purple for him in Nashville, and the intro to Let's Go Crazy was playing and I felt so emotional for some reason. I guess I didn't realize how much of an impact he had made on everyone's lives.

The intro of Let's Go Crazy and the song in general is just so perfectly Prince, when I heard of his passing it was the first song I went to and I immediately starting crying

I dunno if I should grab the ones available now, or wait for the reissues. I only have his s/t & Purple Rain on vinyl and I got them both in pretty **** condition 3 years ago. Did yours have the logo?

I thought only Prince and For Love were the recent ones, Prince was coming out like next month. Or are they going to reissue all of them? I'm looking for Sign O The Times, Batman, Diamonds and Pearls and maybe an original Purple Rain, I have the reissue already.

I think the reason I got Around The World In A Day for $10 was because it didn't have the logo on the corner so the owner didn't realize to jack up the price lol.

They're reissuing everything iirc, Prince is up next. Discogs has a few of the originals of PR for under $60 in near mint condition. I need to grab a 180 gram reissue.

Don't think I mind the missing logo, added to cart.

Hopefully by next year I'll have everything on vinyl.

Usually by price + it will be labeled as such, the reissues are usually on 180 gram. And on discogs you can sort by year to see the original presses.
