Survivor, for the last several seasons, has seen black female contestants being voted off first at an alarmingly disproportionate rate. The fact that 2 black women, on a tribe of 6, managed to attend the first 2 tribal councils and BOTH stay, despite one of them being the most glaringly obvious liability to a tribe in perhaps the entire history of Survivor, is such a bizarre turn of events.

The word "miracle" implies that it's a good thing, though. It's really only a miracle for those two women. For everyone else on that tribe, it'll probably be to their detriment as they'll probably keep losing, and the two women (J'Tia mostly) are not exactly great representatives for black women on television. It's certainly a
change for Survivor, but I don't see any way it can be called a "miraculous" one.
