Martin himself said that he's really distracted by side projects I really hope that it will be released this year but somehow I don't see it

That theory reminds me of the Harry is a Horcrux theory from HP (as well as the Snape Loves Lily theory) since they were brilliant, but everyone had guessed them before Deathly Hallows came out.

And both of them turned out to be true

both of those facts were already theorized?? i had no idea people were theorizing for Harry Potter as well!!

but DAMN.. that gives me hope for R+L=J (although i stilll think that it would have minimal repercussions)

If the book was coming out this year, they would've told us already. Book releases are different from album releases.

Very interesting. But it's more of a prequel and I don't see it affecting the story too much.

yeah its not affecting any of the current story, but i liked how it gave a perspective to all that happened before Robert's Rebellion, and sort of puts everything in place about Rickard and Brandon's killing and the rise of the rebelllion!!

P.s. i posted a link in the OP to a page in the ASOIAF forum, did anyone bother checking it? its kindd of like a collection of Every theory related to ASOIAF in one thread ever made up! (mostly, some of them are mentioned but not explained! Check It Out.

like, remember "Alleras" at the Citadel?? its theorised that he is "sarella", one of Oberyn's sadsnakes who is mentioned in the books as "let Sarella play at her games", also Sarella spelled backwards is Alleras!

I would like to appreciate the incredible way the show is keeping everthing under wraps.. The trailer and the foreshadowing showed so much about Season 4, yet they managed to keep every big thing under wraps, specially Sansa's plot.. Which i decided a while back is my all time favourite part of the series, not so much for sansa but for Littlefinger and finally unveiling his mad genius and schemes.. ! Littlefinger became hands down the best charachter of the series for me after that.

I love how the show has portrayed Meereen(i was afraid they were gonna scrap the pyramids).. And i know the slaver's bay plot gets abit boring in adwd, i am glad they are not changing it initially.. Cuz realistically it was pretty amazing the direction it took.

Wait @ me just finding the theory that Aegon Targaryon might me alive. So since the storylines are moved up, can we expect to see 'Griff' in this season? Probably next because Tyrion doesn't see him until he escapes king's landing.

WoW better come out this year. If Dany's storyline goes up to the end of ADWD we'll need more material for her S5. Unless they give her a break from S5. Doubt it.

And @ Reaper, YES. Lady Stoneheart better come out to play.

Aegon Targaryen was heavily featured in A Dance With Dragons... how could you have not known that!

and i dont think Dany's storyline is reaching into ADWD much tbh.. at the end of ASOS she decides that she's gonna stay and rule. the snippets from the trailer might just be of episode 9 or 10.. when she decides she's not leaving! alot happens till then.. in the first 2-3 episodes she'll invade Meereen, then she'll have the problems with Drogon(and the others) eating children so she'll have to lock them up, and Yunkai and Astapor revolting, THEN she'll decide she wants to stay and rule. i think they'll be able to stretch it over the season!
