Just because an album sells 828k in 3 days doesnt make it iconic ? It's just referred to as "hype" and that was the point of her release strategy. Look at Justin Timberlake, there was nothing iconic on Part 1 of his album (except mirrors) and that sold millions first week.

Beyonce is the better album.
LOUD, however, has the stronger individual songs (Man Down, Whats My Name, Fading) imo. But that's how I feel about Beyonce vs Ri in general. Ri makes better songs, Bey makes better albums.

That was not the point, the point was the "aclaim" was the first thing that came to mind. If you really have your own opinion you don't have to reach for the first bit of stats to justify why you prefer an album.

I don't know why you think BEYONCÉ is pretentious. Is it because Bey is too involved and passionate about her music, because she worked hard to deliver something great and critically acclaimed, because it's doesn't contain a generic electro-pop song?

not because two of them are featured in it means the album is a copy paste of them both

anyways Loud is a nice collection of songs with nice bops and i love the imagery of that album. The red hair is love.

tho BEYONCE is on a different level in which it is an album of who she is as a mother, a wife, an artist, a businesswoman and whatever she wanted for us to know. It is the statement of her art. If I thought 4 was an intimate album, this album made me connect to Bey more as a muse for my own musings.
