Mass Effect on DS a Possibility?
BioWare looking to get handheld division off the ground.
by Martin Robinson, IGN UK
UK, August 8, 2008 - The frankly ridiculous idea of a portable Mass Effect for the Nintendo DS could be a distinct possibility, with BioWare's Miles Holmes recently saying that the developer is looking to bring its existing franchises to the handheld.
"We have a lot of big plans for Mass Effect," said Holmes in an interview with eurogamer.de, kindly translated by its sister site gamesindustry.biz,
"having a DS version would be an awesome way to keep interest alive and keep it going in addition [to Mass Effect 2]".
BioWare is currently hard at work on Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood, its first attempt at a DS title and one that could herald the start of a long relationship between the developer and the phenomenally successful handheld console.
-------------
I think Bioshock and Mass Effect should be PC/360 exclusive , just like Metal Gear is for the PS3.

^At least we've got Halo...even though I was disappointed with single-player.

Halo was not the worlds best though, I have to play split-screen co-op to enjoy that anymore. But online is amazing, and the graphics of course. But I am hoping for a new 'Halo' game.

Ghostbusters sounds better and better every time I read about it, And not only that, but, because it's Ghostbusters, it's a guarantee that it would sell! What the **** was Activision THINKING?
Oh, and the more and more I see of Madden 09, the more excited I get for the game. This looks to be the Madden next-gen we've all be waiting for.

Resistance looks like it could be a great game. It's a shame it's not coming to the 360.

Well the good thing about this one is they're taking their time with it, and it's not just an accessory to go alongside a movie release. But you're right, it could suck.

Who can shed more light on 'Crysis Warhead'? I've never heard of this game.

Summary
Take on the fight as the volatile Sergeant "Psycho" Sykes in a new parallel story taking place during the events of Crysis. Psycho's secret mission will take him to the other side of the island on a ruthless pursuit of a North Korean general hell-bent on obtaining powerful technology. With the versatile powers of his Nanosuit and an arsenal of fully customisable weapons and vehicles at his disposal, Sykes will do whatever it takes to carry out his top-secret objective. Action on the other side of the island is more intense, the battles are fierce, and the mission protocol is no longer "Adapt to Survive." As Sergeant Sykes, now you must adapt to dominate the battle. Twin SMG's blazing, seizing new vehicles, or going stealth, the action and the victory is on your terms.
It's a "sequel" to the critically acclaimed "Crysis" which was released on PC last year.

But those games also didn't feature the original Ghostbusters themselves, or the production values and capability in technology that we have today. I almost think that there shouldn't have been any Ghostbusters games prior to this one, because this one will make all others obsolete.

It could suck. But, the more and more I hear about it, and the more I hear about how good it is by the likes of Gamespot and IGN, the more excited I get.

It is nice. I picked it up yesterday, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The graphics are better, the commentary is better, but it just didn't amaze me like I expected it to.
Anyway, me and my friend have always been quite awesome at Madden. We have gone into about 15 or so tournaments in the last 3 years of Madden and have played the finals against each other on 4 occassions. I lost all 4 times to him though. I have won 2 tournaments though although those are the ones my friend couldn't make.

I doubt it will live up to my expectations, either, but I'm still uber-excited.
I take it you didn't get the collector's edition, though? Because I want to hear about Head Coach 09. I might be more excited to play that than Madden 09, but I'm also the kind of guy who plays Franchises for the front office stuff. ![:p](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

I didn't but my friend did (since he has extra money to throw away). It is worth it if you have the extra cash, but it is not a must have. If you like that kind of stuff, then go for it. I only checked it out for 5 minutes so I don't have much to tell you.
