⚫ 11 long years since then since one of the most underrated female rappers have released an album! Finally, Eve had the flow but the material here especially the singles are so weak compared to her past hits. But seeing her return proved that such release shall be put out when its due time! The tracks are hot but sadly at this day and age of the charts, such success is minimal especially the evidence of hype for Eve is a bit non-existent in general

⚫ While I can tolerate that this only had a live music video, I somehow wished for a different visual. It was one of my favorites from the album. The song is striking as such haunting choir-like background vocals are evident through the song! As usual, Ellie's distinct intonation on the main vocals gives the song a more special listen and when she hits that chorus! Her voice is just so beautiful to listen to! Explosions indeed!
2011: Sugababes - "Freedom"
2012: Chris Brown - "Strip" (feat. Kevin McCall) |

⚫ Upon back listening to their debut album, I always thought this track would be a future single, and it was eventually chosen as the follow-up to the lead, "Wings". The chorus is anthemic while being super generic, but the verses delivers subtlety. The girls' different range blends through in the harmonies while maintaining their individual voices shine through at their own respective parts.
2011: One Direction - "Gotta Be You"
2012: Loreen - "Euphoria" |

⚫ Janelle is on the buzz this year! for the follow-up to her critically acclaimed ArchAndroid series and musically, visually, and all she didn't disappoint! This lead single announcement freaked me literally out as she was accompanied by one of my favorite artist ever "Erykah Badu", the Q.U.E.E.N. of Neo-soul. Overall, this song served swag, classiness, ughh, the song title couldnt be more perfect to describe them both!
