If somebody finds an individual white male (i.e. Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, ect. - both of which I consider unattractive, or should I say, neutral, to clarify that I don't mean ugly) unattractive, nobody would see a problem with that.
But if somebody would consider an individual asian man, black man, etc. to be unattractive or neutrally attractive, then there would be racist accusations thrown at them immediately. Which I feel is unfair.

A specific example being attributed to an entire race of people, yes.
Semantics.

Because when someone considers a specific person unattractive they don't go on a digression on "how people from the same race have the same appearance."

No one said this?
I don't find the above male attractive either, but that doesn't mean I'm going to WRITE OFF AN ENTIRE RACE AND MAKE SWEEPING GENERALIZATIONS BASED ON MY LACK OF ATTRACTION.

In short: no, it's not racist to exclude anyone.
Listen, I'm not white (or even part white), but I'm tired of people getting up
in my business about my sexual preferences. We get it from conservative
homophobes who write laws to have us jailed or killed for what we do in
our bedrooms, and now liberals want to preach to us about who to shag?
Both need to stay the hell out of my bedroom.
I really couldn't care less if a guy has "no Latinos"
on his page. There are PLENTY of men out there,
and I don't see the point in lamenting over one guy.
The real question is: why can't non-whites date each other?

No. No one is taught from birth that white = ugly. It's actually quite the contrary and many, many non-white countries are being influenced by western culture to believe white = beautiful.
When a white person is omitting an entire race, there's something shady going on, and that something shady is racism.

You speak truth in the first paragraph, but the last
sentence is BS, and this is coming from a non-white.

You are literally the first person I've heard say this! So forgive me if I have a lot of questions—tell us more! Do you not date/sleep with white people as a rule of thumb or is it just dumb luck? Do you find no white people attractive, or just the vast majority? Would you ever consider dating a white person? What is it exactly about white people that makes them unattractive?

I've seen quite some hot Asian guys but most Asian guys I've met I'm not physically attracted to.
Can someone tell me if I'm a racist? I'd really like to know.

NO!
Not finding one person attractive =/= racism.
Saying ALL people of a certain race are unattractive because you've never seen an attractive person of that race = racism.
Stop with your "but white people struggle too" BS.

No. But, unlike you, I do not have preconceptions about someone's appearance based on their race.

Again, you're interpreting my thoughts incorrectly and using them as fact. Furthermore, you're putting words in my mouth... I never said "inferior" or any word of the sort.

As soon as I posted this I realised what comments were to come. So ****ing predictable. I never once compared people of color to dogs. I used it as an example. I could have used goldfish or ducks, but instead I used a common household pet. In my opinion, the fact that you'd jump to the conclusion that I'd be comparing to people of color as dogs is actaully racist in itself.

Are you painting all Asian men as unattractive and sharing the same features?
If not, then no.

Erm, no. That's not what anyone in here is talking about. Who is the individual asian man you think this thread is about? No one cares if you didn't think that guy in the other thread was attractive. If your reasoning was "because Asian" then that's racist.

No... You're not saying ALL Asian people are ugly, you're just saying the ones you've seen.

Can you elaborate? I don't wanna speak over you since I'm white and you have experience with racism as a non-white. I feel that if a white person is going to paint an entire race "ugly" because "they've never seen an attractive person of that race", then it has something to do with racism, right?

Don't care who/what you sleep with though, that isn't the point of this thread.

I have this same philosophy too but denying it doesn't hold any racist connotations is a bit questionable.

There are non whites who date each other but there are also non whites who feed into the status thing.
And who says they harp on one guy? that is not what is being said here.

Like everyone on this planet, I don't think about my sexual preferences, nor do I plan on them.
I just don't care for white guys, for whatever reasons I find Arabic/black people way hotter, I like darker skin colors (I hate it when people are really white) and African people tend to have stronger facial features (bigger nose, jawlines), which I find attractive.
I'm also attracted to people with black hair, I've never in my life been attracted to someone with blond hair.
Why? I would have no f**king idea.

mm. I'm saying!
And it's also not just the fact that it's "one" person's preference. It's the fact that those sentiments are so widespread across the community. That's the real damage--when large members of another race don't feel welcome in any capacity, whether it be dating or any other kind of casual interaction with the majority race.

What you don't understand is that you are saying that Asian men, in general, are unattractive to you.
Unattractive = inferior features
Attractive = superior features.
You don't have to explicitly state the word for your statement to have a pretense.

No, because different races have different features and structures.
It's not like we all look the same but come in different colors. LOL.
Edit: sorry, I deleted the point of this post by accident.
I meant to say that people are just attracted to some features more than
others, and sometimes those features are restricted to certain races (or
sexes). For example, I find hairy men attractive. Generally white and
black men are hairy, so that rules out some Asians and Latinos.
I'm not going to date someone who isn't hairy just to make them happy.

THANK YOU! This is what I mean. Everyone obviously already has their preconceived ideas of what is racist and what isn't, and they clearly don't align to what my views are. And as such, things I say are being taken out of context of what I believe and am trying to get across.
I do not think that Asian men are ugly as a rule. Just putting that out there, in plain sight.
My reasoning for not being attracted to any individual person is ALWAYS based on appearance and appearance alone. Just because I do not find somebody attractive DOES NOT mean I find them ugly, in my view. There is a difference between someone who I am not attracted to and someone who I find ugly.
I think I said something along the lines of "most Asian people have similar features which I deem unattractive", which was taken as:
- I think all Asians are ugly
- I judge Asian people based on their race
- I think all Asians look exactly the same
- I have racist views on Asian people
- I prefer White people to other races as a rule
- My definition of unattractive is ugly
ALL of the above are 100% UNTRUE.

!!!! I live in Philly with a wide range of races so you would expect people to be used to diversity. But I have gotten the most dirty look from a few white guys at a club that had mostly white men and I wasn't even trying to talk to them just passing by.
Same goes for guys who say how social they are but will not reply to queers of color.

See, this is what I find ironic.
You just quoted somebody confessing, literally "I just don't care for white guys", and you don't comment on that AT ALL.
Yet if the comment had read, 'I just don't care for asian guys", you'd be giving them a lecture.
