But hey, I'd definitely rate it lower than 5/10 myself. Disappointing beyond belief.

I agree with the critics. She said it would be personal but gave everything but personal. She should just come out and say that it was just an album for her to get attention on her residency in Las Vegas.
I knew this would either get a really high score or a really low score. And lol @ everyone saying it's not personal. Just because it's not "look at me and how sad I am!" that doesn't mean it isn't personal. She has a song about her children, a song with her sister who she's extremely close with and wrote songs about missing her during her breakdown, and she has songs about her old songs, which were a HUGE part of her life. And then she has fun songs like Work Bitch and Body Ache which she loves. And she also has her urban bop. Urban music has always been an interest and passion of hers. So Britney Jean is EXTREMELY personal to her.

If you are going to market the album as personal, it needs to be legitimately personal. It's really not for the most part.

I used to be a big fan, and I know about her history, and it's not a very personal album. That's not a bad thing, but I don't get why they are trying to make it sound like it is.
