There was an expanded version last year + a reissue this year and they both managed to put 4 back on iTunes charts so it must have sold some. Which is funny since the reissue was literally just the tracklist rearranged.

Beyoncé impressed the entire world with just being her (singing, dancing, performing), she really created a wall around her that will always protect her for becoming irrelevant. I think that's the most important thing: impressing people with your qualities.
What qualitiy that is, is different for every artist.

I was not saying Rih could take a break after each of her 7 albums. Also I am sold less than Dangerously in love and 4 sold have of I am. She is not coming back bigger each time at all.

Sales are getting worse and worse every year you know that. For everybody. In 1990's album market, '21' would've probably sold 75M+

4 being less successful doesn't mean Beyoncé isn't successful, but her album is less successful as usual. She's still the big undestroyable Beyoncé. Rihanna has less of that power because she has no defining performance skills that everybody is impressed by. Or whatever defines Rihanna. Her good music maybe/

Rihanna is so big because she has always had commercially successful singles, Beyoncé because she has her performance skills. Imagine how big B. would be if she had more hitsingles than she has now. I mean!
