um... considering she's stated in
interviews that she's veered away from the "Bubblegum pop" sound and actually gone for a more mature sound, I don't see why its so unthinkable for me to expect her to actually live up to those claims?
I can't at you people acting like her releasing more mature sounding (im talking about lyrical content here) music is a BAD thing. She lost a lot of respect from the general public for veering away from the edginess that made her stand out during the x factor - from Turn My Swag On to songs like Oath? Seriously? A lot of people criticised her for being too "american" and too "bubblegum"
and yes, there are a lot of things worse. such as people who seem to think that music can't be "mature" and doesn't want to see an artist progress.
